Did you know that green and blue crayons are among the most popular for little kids to eat? We did after conducting an internet search, prompted by Mae's latest discovery. We were watching her, really, but she just took a gigantic bite right out of her new crayon and devoured it.
Having heard stories about kids eating crayons (and after she ate the blue crayon earlier this year), Kirsten only buys Crayola because she knows they are non-toxic. Not that anyone should eat them, but just in case it happens...
The green ring around her mouth was much more pronounced than the pictures show. The eventual passing of the crayon was equally colorful.
Although she is eager to write, grabbing pens and pencils and markers whenever she can get her little hands on them, perhaps it is still too soon for the crayons. Or maybe just the green and blue.
